We are delighted that you are hoping to get married and would love to welcome you for a wedding at St Giles’.
We will work with you to plan a service that is tailored to you and help you through all the legal paperwork too. We can also offer support for you, as a couple, in preparing for marriage and going forward.
We also welcome people who wish to renew their vows, give thanks for their marriage, or have a blessing after a civil service.
We are an inclusive church and are committed to supporting couples whatever their gender or sexual orientation. While we are not currently permitted by law to marry people of the same sex, we are waiting for the day when we can. At the moment, we can give thanks for the gift of your relationship and your commitment to one, through prayers in a service.
