Cycle of prayer
At our daily service of Evening Prayer a section of the community associated with St Giles’ are prayed for. We pray for those who live in the
parish of St Giles’, those who work in the parish and those who
come to worship in St Giles’ Church. The cycle of prayer is
repeated every four weeks.
We also remember in our prayers those people who have an
anniversary on that particular day, whether this is a birthday, day
of baptism, wedding day or remembering the day on which those
who we know and loved have died.
We believe it is important to hold everyone in prayer before God
and in this way our love, care and concern for other members of
the community grows.
