A lively and fun environment

We know that a good choir is a happy one. And opportunities to socialize, make music, travel, learn, and have fun all contribute to the experiences a child gains at St Giles’. St Giles’ Choir went on tour to Rome in 2013, which included singing Mass in St Peter’s Basilica. They returned to Rome in July 2014 together with the choir of Worcester College Oxford. They will have this musical and extra musical training for the rest of their lives!

Tours

Tours are very important to the Choir’s life. There is no better way to summarize the choral accomplishments of the year than with an opportunity to sing in stimulating settings – places where music, art, culture, and history inspire students to achieve the very best results. Social life

A serious, lively, and fun environment is very important to us. Social activities are regularly organized. These range from hearing the Vienna Boys’ Choir in the Sheldonian Theatre, to going to see Aladdin at the Oxford Playhouse, to going bowling with their choirmaster! Parents/guardians who may wish to participate are encouraged to be involved in these, as appropriate.
