Re-roofing at St Giles’: While the work is taking place, it is not possible to access the North door from the Woodstock Road approach.

Flowers: The flowers in church this week are given in memory of Y S Chau from C K and M Chu and family.

Revd Michael Screech: Michael died on 1st June at 11:00 am.  He was being cared for in a nursing home in which he had been living for the last few months.  Please remember Michael in your prayers.  It is likely that the funeral and thanksgiving services will take place late in June.

St Giles’ Chorister Concert – Sunday 10th June, after the 10:30 am service.

Music at St Giles’: Akino Kitahara (piano); Philip Shirtcliff (clarinet) – Sat 16th June, 7:30 pm.  Brahms – Clarinet sonata in Eb major; Satie – Gnossienne 1; Mark Russell – Three pieces for clarinet and piano; Ravel – Oiseaux Tristes and Alborada del Gracioso.  Tickets: £12/£10/£8/£5

Services on Sunday 17th June – Third Sunday after Trinity: 8:00 am – Holy Communion (BCP); 10:30 am – Holy Communion; 6:30 pm –Evensong.

St Giles’ Choir will sing in Coventry Cathedral on 23rd June 2018 at 4:00 pm.

2018 Friendship Walk of Faiths will take place on Thurs 28th June, starting from Oxford Jewish Centre, Richmond Road, at 6:15 pm.

A shared Parish Lunch in the Vicarage garden (in church if wet) will follow the Project 900 presentation on 1st July.  Suggested contributions include cold meat or fish, quiche, vegetarian dishes or substantial salads; alternatively, a pudding or some cheese would be welcome.  Soft drinks will be provided, but adults may like to bring something stronger!

Cricket Match: On 8th July, after the 10:30 am service, St Giles’ and St Margaret’s will be having a cricket match at St Edward’s School.  If you would like to play, please let Tom Albinson know.
