Revd Michael Screech: Michael died on 1st June.  He was being cared for in the nursing home in which he had been living for the last few months.  Please remember Michael in your prayers. The Memorial service for Michael is at All Souls College Chapel, Thursday 28th June, at 11am.

St Giles’ Parish News: articles for the magazine are always welcome.  The deadline for the July edition is 20th June.

St Giles’ Choir will sing in Coventry Cathedral on 23rd June 2018 at 4:00 pm.

Services on Sunday 24th June – The Birth of St John the Baptist: 8:00 am – Holy Communion (BCP); 10:30 am – Holy Communion; 6:30 pm – Evensong.

The Interfaith Friendship Walk will take place on Thurs 28th June, departing from The Synagogue, Richmond Rd, at 6:15 pm (calling at St Giles’ at 6:40pm).

Music at St Giles’ in aid of Project 900: Violin and Piano Recital – Jacqui Miles (violin); Bethe Levvy (piano) – Saturday 30th June, 7:30 pm.  Jacqui Miles is First Violin at English National Opera and the founder and director of the Oxford Violin School.  Tickets: £12/£10/£8/£5

Project 900: There will be a Congregational Meeting after the 10:30 am service on 1st July to present the next stage of Project 900.  Please join us in the church for this important event.

A shared Parish Lunch in the Vicarage garden (in church if wet) will follow the Project 900 presentation on 1st July.  Suggested contributions include cold meat or fish, quiche, vegetarian dishes or substantial salads; alternatively, a pudding or some cheese would be welcome.  Soft drinks will be provided, but adults may like to bring something stronger!

Cricket Match: On 8th July, after the 10:30 am service, St Giles’ and St Margaret’s will be having a cricket match at St Edward’s School.  If you would like to play, please let Tom Albinson know.
