Chapel Service at OCMS, Woodstock Rd: On Wednesday 1st Feb at 9:30 am the speaker will be Marina Behera, OCMS Faculty member. All welcome.

St Giles’ Lunchtime Talks: The Experience of Homelessness – Speaker: Jayson Marc-Frater. Thursday 2nd February, 12:30 pm.

The Presentation of Christ in the Temple (Candlemas): Eucharist & Hymns at St Margaret’s at 8:00 pm on Thursday 2nd February.

Cocoa and Compline at St Giles’: 9:30 pm on Thursday 2nd February.

Concert: Music by Byrd, Walton, Arvo Pärt. Saturday 4th February at 7 pm in LMH Chapel. Tickets £10 adults/£5 children available at the door or in advance from Nicholas Prozzillo. (Part of the proceeds will go to Project 900).

Priest and Pints: Tom Albinson will be at The Royal Oak at 7:45 pm on Sunday 5th February. All are welcome.

Homelessness Sunday – 22nd January: The 10:30 am service at St Giles’ will focus on the issue of homelessness and will be followed by a Homelessness Trail starting at St Giles’ from 12 noon to 1 pm.

Week of Prayer for Christian Unity: Unity Service at Christ Church Cathedral at 6 pm on Sunday 22nd January. Evening Prayer (said) will take place at St Giles’ at 6:30 pm.

Choir News: (1) We welcome Giles Longstaff and family to St Giles’ community. Giles will be our new Junior Organ Scholar. (2) Congratulations to Raphael Pollack-Joyce (Piano), Freddy Chelsom (Piano/Organ), Max Rutterford (Organ) on recent music examination successes. Max and Benjamin Grønlie will both be awarded the St Giles’ Organ Prize on account of their high examination results.
