St Giles’ is in the Diocese of Oxford, within the Church of England. We are part of a Joint Benefice with St Margaret’s Church in North Oxford.

Our parish covers the area around Little Clarendon Street and the southern part of the Woodstock and Banbury roads, including the Radcliffe Infirmary site.

We are a traditional church that celebrates Holy Communion and Choral Evensong (Book of Common Prayer) on Sundays and Morning and Evening Prayer in the week. Our Sunday worship is supported by our fine choir that contributes to our worship with the best of the English choral tradition, with a peal of eight bells which are regularly rung, and were retuned and rehung in 2011. Throughout the liturgical year we observe major festivals and Saints’ Days according to the calendar. We welcome visitors and regular worshippers alike, and our location in central Oxford gives us a distinctive profile.
